About Essential Harvest

Our journey into healing skincare began after an accident left a large scar on our daughter's leg. We were determined to find a solution that would heal, nourish, and diminish the appearance of scars, which led us to discover organic tallow balm. After experimenting with various products on the market, we decided to take control over the quality and purity of our ingredients by sourcing our beef tallow locally from an organic farm. This farm humanely raises cows that are grass-fed, grass-finished, grain-free, chemical-free, drug-free, steroid-free, pesticide-free, and hormone-free. All of our ingredients are either pure or organic, sourced from the most reputable suppliers.

If you have ever purchased tallow before, you know that each batch rendered is unique—its texture, smell, and color depend on the age and diet of the cow as well as the time of year the tallow was acquired. Even the temperature of your home in comparison to mine can affect the texture of the tallow. You may notice that each jar is not exactly the same, but you can trust that the quality of our ingredients and our rendering process remains consistent. While we consider these variables in producing each batch, you will find that the final texture and scent of our natural moisturizer is distinctive to each jar.
